Air Canada is Canada-based domestic and international airline and a provider of scheduled passenger services in the Canadian market, the Canada-United States transborder market, and in the international market to and from Canada. During the year ended December 31, 2010, Air Canada, together with Jazz Aviation LP (the successor to Jazz Air LP), operated an average of 1,470 scheduled flights daily departures to 59 destinations in Canada, 59 destinations in the United States and 60 destinations in the Canada-Europe, Canada-Pacific, Canada-Caribbean/Central America and Canada-South America markets, and carried almost 32 million passengers and provided direct passenger service to 178 destinations. Air Canada also generates revenue from Air Canada Cargo, which provides direct cargo services to over 150 Canadian and international destinations, and from tour operator services provided by its wholly owned subsidiary, Touram Limited Partnership (doing business as Air Canada Vacations).
