EnCana Corporation (EnCana) is a natural gas producing company. The Company operates in two divisions: Canadian Division and USA Division. The Canadian Division is engaged in the natural gas exploration, development and production assets located in British Columbia and Alberta, as well as the Deep Panuke natural gas project offshore Nova Scotia. The Company’s USA Division includes the natural gas exploration, development and production assets in the Jonah field in southwest Wyoming, the Piceance Basin in northwest Colorado, the East Texas basin in Texas, the Haynesville shale in Louisiana and Texas, and the Fort Worth basin in Texas. EnCana’s operations are focused on exploiting North American natural gas formations, including tight gas, shales and coal bed methane (CBM).
