Established in 1986, Enerplus is one of Canada’s oldest and largest independent oil and gas producers offering investors a high yield combined with moderate, profitable growth potential from resource plays across Western Canada and the United States. Enerplus has a balanced portfolio of crude oil and natural gas assets in large resource play areas that provide both a stable production base and growth potential. The Company's oil assets are concentrated in the Bakken play in the Williston basin as well as various waterflood properties throughout Western Canada. Their natural gas assets are concentrated in the Marcellus shale gas play primarily in Pennsylvania and in Western Canada focusing on shallow gas and tight gas in the Deep Basin region.
