Uranium One Inc., along with its subsidiaries, is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of properties for the production of uranium in Kazakhstan, the United States, Australia and Canada. It owns a 70% interest in the Akdala and South Inkai Uranium Mines in Kazakhstan. It holds a 50% interest in the Karatau joint venture, which owns Karatau uranium mine in Kazakhstan, 49.67% interest in the Zarechnoye joint venture, which owns Zarechnoye uranium mine in Kazakhstan, and a 30% interest in Kyzylkum joint venture. It owns a 51% interest in the Honeymoon Uranium Project in Australia. It owns, either directly or through joint ventures, a large portfolio of uranium exploration properties in the western United States, South Australia, South Africa and Canada.
