Community involvement
Andrew’s philanthropy was initially inspired by his nephew, whose school had funding cuts and was no longer able to go on field trips. Andrew made donations to a handful of schools in Vancouver, but walked away wanting to give more.
Since then, Andrew and his wife Crystal have expanded their donations to support local community initiatives across Canada. The Johns' proudly support local charities with the focus on education and the well-being of women and children. Andrew ensures their donations directly supports each program for the highest amount of positive impact. He personally works with each charity and at times assists in the support of a program.
